Due to the martial law in the country on the basis of Department of Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Medical Psychology of the Shupyk National University of Health provides remote training sessions about principles of psychological assistance to the population during the war.
March 15, a training seminar on "Principles of crisis counseling in wartime", which covered issues of first aid and self-help for acute trauma, March 22, 2022 - "Diagnosis of mental disorders associated with war, and providing emergency psychological and psychiatric care in the media mode.” The seminars were available to all interns and physicians trained at the Department of Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Medical Psychology Shupyk National University of Health, with a total of 67 participants.
The scientific and pedagogical staff of the department continues to work during the war: to develop and conduct professional seminars on military medicine, which will reveal current issues of implementation of organized assistance to the population to preserve and restore mental health.
