A Good Command of Army Medicine English Paves the Way for the Victory! A new advanced training course “TACTICAL MEDICINE ESSENTIALS. BASIC MILITARY ENGLISH” of the Department of Foreign Languages has been underway since April 26, 2022.
The course is of great relevance as the absolute necessity of medical support is apparent and important now more than ever in the history of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Army Medicine provides sustained health services and research in support of the Total Force to enable readiness and conserve the fighting strength while caring for our soldiers for life and families
The main mission of military medicine is to support the health and treatment of the military in relation to issues, risks, injuries and diseases that arise due to the specific occupational conditions.
The course is a great resource for the Academic staff of the universities of Ukraine, physicians, medical professionals, assigned to multinational missions, in improving their professional English knowledge and skill sets. A number of military and medical aspects of English are explained in detail. The course covers key points with all the explanations, examples and activities the students need to have a good command of professional English. The topics are aimed at mastering reading, coping with grammar, using social media etc.
