Doronin Alexander

PHD, Senior Researcher, Associate Professor.

Graduated in 1988 from the Kiev Medical Institute. In1988-1989 - internship in surgery. Since 1993 – surgeon of the Kiev Research Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery.

Since 1997 - Senior Researcher of the Electrophysiology Department in the Cardiovascular Surgery Institute of Academy of Medical Sciences.

Since 2007 worked as a leading researcher of the scientific advisory department with radiological methods of treatment in Ukrainian Children’s Cardiac Center. Was engaged in the organization of arrhythmological service in Ukrainian Children’s Cardiac Center, dedicated to newborns and young children, and perinatal arrhythmias treatment. Mastered the latest techniques of cardiac ablations, in particular with navigation system use and in children from the age of 2 months, as well as pacemaker implantations to young children.

In 2003 defended PHD dissertation on the cardiovascular surgery specialty named “AV nodal reentry tachycardia. Electrophysiological aspects and treatment by catheter ablation.” In 2011 received the scientific title of senior researcher and was selected by the competition as associate professor of the Department of Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery in the National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education. Author of 60 published scientific works.

Main directions of educational, methodical, scientific and medical activity: responsible for medical work at the department, atrial fibrillation catheter ablations, diagnostics and treatment of arrhythmias in children.
