Teaching may sound like an easy task, but it takes a great deal of hard work and planning to become successful in our job. Attending educational events such as seminars, conferences and expos are some of the ways to learn and sharpen one’s skills in this current age. Ensuring a proper flow of knowledge seminars and workshops assist in passionate interaction and active participation boosting the skills and expertise of the NUOZU Department of Philosophy and Foreign Languages teachers.

It is the goal of the Department that every teacher will become not only efficient but also effective. Thus, our teachers sign up to attend trainings and seminars, conducted by Pearson, British Council and LanguageCert in October, November, and December to help them increase their skills and global employability prospects. Educational events usually enable the attendees to mix and mingle with one another, talk, exchange contacts, form new relationships and strengthen existing ones. Unlike lectures, where a speaker will address the audience, seminars and workshops are led by someone acting as a mediator. As you listen to other people’s ideas, you may find inspiration that can help you in the workplace. You may come up with a new way to handle things or new ideas that you never considered before. Networking and listening to others share their ideas may be the ticket to get your wheels spinning. The webinars provide us with invaluable information about exams, and cover a wide spectrum of subjects, including effective teaching methods, tips to improve student engagement and online professional development. When we return to our workplace, we come with renewed motivation and enthusiasm to pursue our goals.

Based on obtaining a Certificate of Attendance, the NUOZU Department of Philosophy and Foreign Languages teachers provide a reliable way for our listeners of all ages to take high-stakes exams in the future and are thought to be valuable assets of modern society.
