Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1 of Shypik National Healthcare University of Ukraine from 12.01 to 26.01.2023 conducted an on-site cycle of thematic improvement "Modern approaches to rational management of pregnancy and childbirth (for obstetricians-gynecologists, therapists of obstetrics and gynecology departments, family doctors)" in the city of Brovary.
Trainings were conducted according to a hybrid system of training, both directly in the Brovary city maternity hospital and online. In the educational process were held by the head of the department, professor Golyanovskiy OV, professor Romanenko TG and associate professor Morozova OV. From the standpoint of evidence-based medicine and on the basis of the implementation of the most effective perinatal technologies, modern approaches to the rational management of pregnancy and childbirth are considered.
Both lecture and seminar classes, as well as classes in the maternity hospital, were held to practice the practical skills of childbirth, recording a partogram, prevention of obstetric bleeding, thromboembolic complications, and postpartum purulent-inflammatory diseases. The sessions considered the practical issues of the use of obstetric forceps and extractor vacuum in case of a complicated course of the second period of labor and delivery by caesarean section. The lecturers of the department focused the attention of the listeners on the prognostic and preventive approach to the management of pregnancy and childbirth with the aim of minimizing possible complications during pregnancy and childbirth.
All participants of the training expressed their gratitude for providing modern theoretical and practical developments regarding modern approaches to childbirth management.

- "Management of high-risk pregnancy (for obstetricians-gynecologists, anesthesiologists)" (20.02-06.03) - the cycle of thematic improvement involves consideration of issues faced by doctors who observe pregnant women with somatic pathology that complicates the course of pregnancy; tactics of observation and treatment of pregnant women with obstetric and gynecological diseases; knowledge of regulatory documents that regulate the work of obstetrician-gynecologists.
- "Colposcopy and inflammatory diseases in gynecology" (03.09-23.03) - The thematic course includes the study of issues of diagnosis and treatment tactics of pathology of the cervix and inflammatory processes of the female genitalia at the current stage. It aims to acquaint doctors with new views on the principles of diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the cervix, to raise the professional level of doctors in the diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted infections, taking into account their pathognomonic role in the occurrence of some background and precancerous diseases of the cervix. The tasks of the practical course include training students in modern methods of diagnosis of various gynecological pathologies using methods of colposcopy, enzyme immunoassay, polymerase chain reactions, cytological and bacteriological studies, determining the pH of the vaginal environment.
