Based on the order of academic V. Kaminskiy, rector of the NUOZ named by P.L.Shupik, Dr. I.I. Slychko, associate professor of the chair of disaster medicine and military- medical preparation of the medical faculty, from 24-Apr-2023, has been sent to the mobile civil-military  medical center in the war events zone for providing surgery care to both civilian and military of Ukraine  Armed forces.

Dr. Ivan Slychko not the first-time taking part in similar missions, he was both abroad for rescue after earthquakes missions in Iran, Pakistan, war zone in Libya and east of Ukraine in 2015. This experience helps him to provide highly qualified and specialized medical care in the field. And also, in the trainings center of the University he trains students afterwards.
