We would like to inform you that on 27.06.2023, on the basis of the Department of Emergency Medicine of the Shupyk National Medical University of Ukraine (CME provider №1065), the professional school «Emergency conditions in acute poisoning» was completed (CME event №5503989).

The purpose of this event was to train and practice actions in case of emergency conditions due to acute poisoning. The program consisted of 5 main sections, which highlighted the modern aspects of emergency conditions in patients with acute poisoning. In the course of the training, the students get acquainted with the protocol for providing assistance to patients with intoxication according to the International Trauma Life Support (8th edition) and the author's approach of the department's staff to covering the actions of doctors in case of cardiac arrest, respiratory arrest, disorders of the central nervous system, gastrointestinal tract and renal dysfunction.

The lecturers of this professional school were Oleh Ivashchenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Emergency Medicine of the Shupyk National University of Health of Ukraine, Associate Professor, and Anton Volosovets, Head of the Department of Emergency Medicine of the Shupyk National University of Health of Ukraine, Associate Professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences. The event was attended by toxicologists, family doctors and emergency medicine doctors. After passing the final test, the participants were issued CME certificates with personalized numbers (numbers from 2023 - 1065 - 5503989 - 100001 to 2023 - 1065 - 5503989 - 100007).
