From September 1, 2023, the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1 started the full-time internship cycle with 1st-year interns. 11 obstetrician-gynecologist interns started training.

At the beginning of the training, the curator of the internship cycle, Ph.D., associate professor G. Zhaloba, familiarized the interns with the work plan and the schedule of classes. Lectures and seminars in September will be held in a mixed format. The head of the department, professor O. Golyanovskyi, provided recommendations for better assimilation of information and training productivity of medical interns.

During the training, intern doctors will have the opportunity together with the supervisor, in addition to learning the theoretical part, will have the opportunity to supervise pregnant, postpartum and gynecological patients. Also, an important element in the training will be the consideration of cases of surgical care in obstetrics and gynecology, the study of surgical procedures with a specific algorithm of actions of the surgeon and assistant.
