In February 2024, the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1 conducted 2 field cycles of thematic improvement: in the 6th maternity hospital in Kyiv and in the maternity hospital in Irpin, Kyiv region. The topic is "Emergency care in obstetrics and gynecology with a simulation training course" and "Current issues of obstetrics and gynecology from the standpoint of evidence-based medicine."
Кафедра акушерства і гінекології №1НУОЗ України імені П.Л. Шупика у лютому 2024 року провела два виїзних цикли тематичного удосконалення: у пологовому будинку м. Києва №6 і в пологовому будинку м. Ірпінь Київської області. Тематика – «Невідкладні допомога в акушерстві та гінекології з курсом симуляційного навчання» і «Актуальні питання акушерства та гінекології з позиції доказової медицини».
Employees of the department conducted training with students of the cycles in a mixed mode - online and with visits to the specified maternity hospitals. The cycles were designed for obstetrician-gynecologists and anesthesiologists.
The topics of emergency conditions in obstetrics and gynecology were considered with the provision of modern data and innovative methods, which aroused the interest and discussion of listeners with a discussion of clinical cases of hemorrhagic and hypertensive disorders, with obstetric and extragenital pathology during pregnancy, childbirth and in the event of the development of gynecological emergencies.
As part of the discussion of current issues of obstetrics and gynecology, the teachers of the department presented existing protocols and standards, which are based on the data of randomized studies and the results of which reflect the implementation of the most effective methods of evidence-based medicine.
