On April 10, the head of the Department of Cardiac Surgery, Endovascular and Extracorporeal Technologies, Borys Todurov, together with Associate Professor Serhii Sudakevych, Assistant Gavryl Kovtun and PhD student Sofia Chaikovska, attended the ISHLT 2024 World Congress of Heart and Lung Transplantists, at which Ukraine was represented for the first time in history.

Boris Todurov spoke with great honor about the work of the transplant team of the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the Department of Cardiac Surgery Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine during the war. Thanking the organizers for the opportunity to demonstrate and remind us about the difficult time our country is currently living in.
