In april of 2024 Riga Medical College of the University of Latvia organized the Military Medicine Intensive Course program in Riga.
This was a short cycle training in the Erasmus BIP program and students from Lithuania, Poland and the Czech Republic were invited to attend a 5-day course and participate in practical training.
Practical trainings were perforned by military instructors at NATO military base in Riga from April 8th to 12th and Virtual Lecture Sessions were performed online on 26th and 27th of March.
From the side of Ukraine were invited lecturers with such online presentations as “Implementation of TCCC protocols - Ukrainian experience” (lecturer: Prof. Anton Volosovets, MD, PhD, DMS, head of the Department of Emergency Medicine of Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine, TCCC instructor (NAEMT)) and “Interhospital transfer of casualties - Ukrainian experience” (lecturer: Dr. Olha Kramareva, MD, PhD, associated professor of the Department of Emergency Medicine of Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine, TCCC instructor (NAEMT)).
