In April 2024, negotiations were held between the Department of Emergency Medicine of the Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine, represented by the Head of the Department Volosovets A.O., and the “Xenium” Medical Center, represented by the Director of the Center Marianchyk O.B., which resulted in the conclusion of agreements on scientific and clinical cooperation between the Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine and the “Xenium” Center.
Under these agreements, the center will be included in the list of clinical bases of the Department of Emergency Medicine, and the department's staff will be able to teach students at the center's areas and conduct clinical and scientific work at the “Xenium” Medical Center.
“Xenium” is Ukraine's first and only specialized medical center for xenon therapy, which provides assistance to patients with various diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system, musculoskeletal system, and chemical addictions using medical xenon. This method is especially effective when included in comprehensive treatment programs, which significantly increases the effectiveness of disease control.
The joint scientific and clinical work of the staff of the Department of Emergency Medicine and the Xenium Center will expand the clinical experience of the department's teachers, demonstrate modern technologies in the provision of medical care to students and provide a scientific basis for work and joint research with the staff of the Xenium Center.
