Anton Volosovets, Head of the Department of Emergency Medicine of the Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine, joined the training project under the auspices of the UN and UALIP on mental health and emergency psychological assistance. The program was developed for employees of the state free legal service who work with vulnerable groups of people on a daily basis and face a significant emotional burden.

As part of the training, participants discussed key aspects of stress prevention, emotional self-management techniques and principles of non-conflict communication. Particular attention was paid to the skills of providing emergency psychological assistance in case of psychological trauma, which is especially relevant for professionals working in difficult social and legal conditions.

Anton Volosovets shared his own experience and scientific achievements in the field of mental health, in particular, effective methods of stabilizing the emotional state and preventing professional burnout. His presentation aroused great interest among the participants, as the proposed techniques can be useful not only for lawyers but also for professionals in other fields working under stressful conditions.

The UN-led project aims to improve access to quality psychological care and develop professional mental health skills among legal professionals. Such initiatives help to increase the overall stress resistance of society and strengthen the professional community.
