Key conclusions of the experts:
The Academy is headed by a bright team of leaders, who managed to ensure its sustainable development under difficult circumstances and demonstrate through personal example responsible and creative approach to the work. The Academy’s leaders develop corporate culture, which encourages the staff members to improve the activity, creativity search and responsibility. The great credibility of the Academy’s leaders is the reason of forming network of partners among leading clinical and research institutions, attracting key specialists in medicine. The educational and scientific activity of the Academy is of high practical value. The system is based on wide network of clinical sites which provides practical approbation of scientific research results, as well as internship doctors’ practical training. The Academy greatly contributes to the health care system development in Ukraine, especially to medical education through the development of regulatory framework and sharing experience in the community of professionals. The Academy is actively involved in the development and implementation of new products and solutions (training courses and teaching methods) for educational services. New management approaches, such as process management and risk management, are introduced in the work of the Academy.
The course of events:
October 24-26, 2016, the first assessment of NMAPE according to EFGM Recognized for Excellence scheme was conducted. The result is EFGM Recognized for Excellence Certificate (4-Star) for a term of two years.
June 18-20, 2018, the team of experts of the Ukrainian Association for Quality – representatives of EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management) in Ukraine visited the Academy to assess according to EFGM Recognized for Excellence scheme.
In accordance with the plan, the teams of experts (accompanied by QMS coordinators and representatives of the Unit of Activity Quality Monitoring) conducted 45 interviews with the leaders of the Academy, heads of structural subdivisions, members of Specialized Scientific Boards, scientific units, student self-governance.
The interviews included the following assessment aspects: leadership, strategy, personnel, partnership and resources, processes, products and services, benefits to staff members, benefits to consumers, benefits to the society, business outcomes.
August, 2018, the Report on the results of NMAPE assessment according to EFGM Recognized for Excellence scheme was received; overall estimate: 501-550.
We are looking forward to the Certificate award.
The assessment in accordance with EFQM criteria is important for defining new lines of the Academy’s activities and will help achieve a new level of excellence for the benefit of all concerned.
