On November 12, another elective class of the Department of Cardiology of SNHUU was held.

The main topic of the meeting was issues that unite cardiology and family medicine: therapy of hypertension: Ukrainian and foreign experience. Doctor of Medical Sciences Isaeva G.S. worked in detail on the analysis of this issue. The lecturer introduced the audience to modern international protocols and data from the world's largest studies in this area.

Much attention was devoted to statin therapy in modern conditions. Prof. Fedorov S.V. focused his workshop on adherence to statins. And solving the problem of compliance with hypolipidemic therapy was discussed by As. I.V. Davydova and Prof. M.M. Dolzhenko.

A problem that often arises in medical practice was not left without attention. Prof. I. Yu. Golovach, together with doctors, worked on the topic: "Rational use of NSAIDs in chronic and acute pain."
