The Disaster and Military Medicine faculty took part at the first preparatory stage for Interdepartmental training in Kyiv on November 23, 2022. This field exercise named “The Municipal Health Care System response to mass casualties’ incidents” has been occurred under City Department of Health Care with participation of 1) Disaster and Emergency Center, 2) Kyiv Municipal Clinical Hospital of Emergency Medical Care, 3) Disaster and Military medicine Department by Shupic’s NUOZ as well as team from 3) Municipal Search and Rescue Center.

According scenario a major traffic accident has been occurred and 30 victims needs for assistance. Team works of all rescue services, from Dispatch control rooms, Response Headquarters at the scene and during evacuation, as well as Hospital Emergency Department were practiced.

Uniform protocols for providing assistance after MCI were determined and agreed as results of this training

All the latest developed algorithms will be included in the educational process of our university.
