On November 4-6, 2019, on the invitation of former students of the program cycle of the Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery (head of the department - professor Savoliuk S.I.) "Modern Minimally Invasive Methods in Phlebology", a thematic workshop was conducted on the basis of the vascular department of the Lviv Regional Clinical Hospital. The workshop was dedicated on the application of endovenous biowelding technology in minimally invasive surgery for varicose veins of the lower extremities and its complications.

At the moment, the Department of Anesthesiology and IC continues to train doctors at the PCC from the Kyiv, Zakarpattia, Zhytomyr regions. Nowadays scientists and medical doctors pay attention to the problem of the management of multidisciplinair diseases. Among these conditions are diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular diseases, cerebrovascular diseases, etc., which occupy a special place. A conference «Modern Aspects of Implementation of Scientific Clinical Guidelines of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine 2018-2019 on the Basis of Evidence-Based Medicine» took place in Rivne on November 6, 2019 was dedicated to these problems.

International Primary Immunodeficiency Congress held in Madrid (Spain) on November 6-8, 2019 (IPIC 2019). The Congress was organized by International Patient Organization for Primary Immunodeficiency (IPOPI). The event aimed at raising the knowledge about the latest tools for diagnosis and treatment of primary immunodeficiencies, as well as discussing issues that are significant for the patient community, such as ensuring equal access to care for patients in different countries, organization of increasing the awareness about primary immunodeficiencies among medical and non-medical community to improve the early diagnosis.
