SILCHENKO Valery Petrovich, Honored Doctor of Ukraine, Professor of the Department, Doctor of Medical Sciences.

He graduated from the medical faculty of the Kiev Medical Institute in 1973. From 1963 to 1966 he studied at the postgraduate course at the Kiev Medical Institute. From 1966 to 1771 he worked as an assistant of the Department of Pathological Anatomy of the Kiev Medical Institute. From 1971 to 1979, he headed the pathologic-anatomical service of the Kyiv Research Institute of Clinical and Experimental Surgery. In 1992 till 2016 he was in charge of the Department of Pathological and Topographic Anatomy.

Silchenko Valery Petrovich. - an experienced teacher, a doctor of the highest category in the specialty "Pathological anatomy".
