The main scientific problems which are solved by the Department staff are the problem of children's allergy, pulmonology and autoimunne diseases. Today the department carries out research on the theme: "Peculiarities of genesis of allergic diseases in children of different ages and their prevention and treatment options."
According to the results of research within 5 years it has published more than 200 publications in various periodicals. It made more than 150 presentations at state and international scientific meetings.
Every year the Department of forces held scientific-practical conference "Problems of allergy and autoimmune conditions in children". 15-16 November 2018 was held scientific-practical conference with international participation “Pediatrics – for life” to the 100th anniversary of foundation.
Now on department is preparing 1 doctoral and 5 candidate dissertations.
