Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Higher Education of Ukraine, MD, Dr. Sc., Full Professor, Honored Doctor of Ukraine, Master of Public Administration, Head of the Expert Problem Commission of the Ministry of Health and National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine in General Practice - Family Medicine.

The Institute of Family Medicine includes: 13 departments, 8 of which are base departments in postgraduate medical education.

The Institute employs 112 scientific-pedagogical staff: 1 Academician of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, 1 Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, 5 Academicians of the National Academy of Sciences of Higher Education of Ukraine, 25 Full Professors, 32 MD, Drs. Sc., 70 MD, PhDs, 45 Associate Professors, 3 Honored Workers of the Higher School of Ukraine, 7 Honored Doctors of Ukraine, 4 Honored Workers of Science and Technology of Ukraine, 2 Honored Workers of Education of Ukraine, 1 Honored Laboratory Assistant of Ukraine.

Every year more than 4,000 students study in 16 specialties at the departments of the Institute.

The Institute of Family Medicine has 65 clinical bases, including 54 inpatient and outpatient, 11 outpatient clinics of general practice-family medicine.
