Andrii V. Bilyayev MD, Dr. Sc., Full Professor

Bilyayev Andrii Viktorovych, was born in 1964, graduated from Kyiv Medical Institute named after Academician O.O. Bohomolets with honors in 1987. Later he studied in clinical residency at the Department of Anesthesiology and Reanimatology of Kyiv Medical Institute named after Academician O.O. Bohomolets. A PhD since 1992, doctor of medical sciences since 1999. He worked as an anesthesiologist and resuscitator in the Kyiv District Military Hospital of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, an anesthesiologist and resuscitation researcher in the City Scientific and Methodical Anticancer Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, assistant and later associate professor at the Department of Anesthesiology, Resuscitation and Disaster Medicine at the National Medical University named after Academician O.O. Bohomolets.

Since 2000, he has been working as a Professor, and since 2013, as Head of the Department of Pediatric Anesthesiology and Intensive Care of the National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education named after P.L. Shupyk. A professor since 2004. More than 100 scientific works, 8 monographs, co-author of two textbooks and three national textbooks.

He prepared four candidates of medical sciences and one doctor of medical sciences in specialty 14.01.30 ‒ anesthesiology and intensive care.

A scope of professional and scientific interests ‒ hemostasis, clinical nutrition, mechanical ventilation, hemodynamics and shock, blood loss.
