Nataliia Pavlivna Tsip graduated from the Medical Faculty of Uzhhorod State University in 1990 with a specialization in General Medicine. She holds a Candidate of Medical Sciences degree and a Doctor of Medical Sciences degree (specialization in oncology - 14.01.07).
In 2013, she defended her doctoral dissertation on the topic "Malignant Trophoblastic Tumors Initiated by Bladder Trapping: Epidemiology, Diagnostic Features, Prognosis, and Treatment Tactics." She has 33 years of work experience in oncology gynecology and is a senior oncology gynecologist.
In 1995, she was appointed as a junior research fellow at the Department of Oncology Gynecology at the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine. Since 2017, she has been a leading research fellow at the Department of Oncology Gynecology at the National Cancer Institute.
Since 2017, she has also been an adjunct faculty member at the Department of Oncology at the P.L. Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine, teaching specialization courses and thematic improvement cycles in oncology gynecology, oncological surgery, and clinical oncology.
Her main areas of scientific and practical research include organ-preserving treatment of oncology gynecological patients, development, and implementation of diagnostic and treatment standards for oncology gynecological diseases.
Nataliia Pavlivna has published 129 works (articles and abstracts) in specialized journals, 6 patents, 4 monographs, 1 handbook, 1 educational guide, 3 methodological recommendations, and 6 informational leaflets on minimally invasive techniques in oncology gynecology, organ-preserving operations, radiofrequency hyperthermia in oncology (a project carried out in collaboration with the Cavendish Laboratory at the University of Cambridge), trophoblastic tumors, vulvar and ovarian cancer treatment, and oncoimmunology.
She has presented scientific reports at congresses, conferences, seminars in Ukraine and abroad. She is a member of the International Gynecological Cancer Society (IGCS), European Society of Gynecological Oncology (ESGO), European Organization for Trophoblastic Disease (EOTTD), International Association of Surgeons, Gastroenterologists, and Oncologists (IASGO), Innovative Committee Member in EOTTD, and a member of the Scientific Council of the National Cancer Institute.
Nataliia Pavlivna is a Medical Advisor for the patient organization "Phoenix" (translation and editing of ENGAGe brochures, public lectures for Ukrainian patients), Medical Advisor for the ENGAGe Teens project (editing Engage Teens brochures), Medical Advisor for the SciYouth project (editing educational materials on STDs and first aid for 9th-grade students), and a Facilitator for the National BRCA1/2 Testing Program for ovarian cancer patients (selection and harmonization of patient cohorts, educational seminars for physicians).
