Fedot Tkachenko, born in 1972. In 1995, he graduated with honors from the O. O. Bogomolets National Medical University with a degree in "General Medicine." From 1995 to 1998, he studied in the master's and internship programs in "Surgery" at the Department of Faculty Surgery No.1 of the O. O. Bogomolets National Medical University.
From 1998 to 2001, he pursued his Ph.D. in "Surgery" at the Department of Faculty Surgery No.1 of the O. O. Bogomolets National Medical University. In 2003, he defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic "Clinical and Functional Evaluation of Anastomoses of the Large Intestine Created by Different Types of Suturing Devices."
From 2001 to 2021, he worked as a surgeon-proctologist at the Proctology Department of Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No.18. In 2022, he started working as a surgeon-proctologist and surgeon for night shifts at the Center for Innovative Surgery and Oncosurgery of Feofania Clinical Hospital, DUS. Since December 2022, he has been the head of the Surgical Department at Feofania Clinical Hospital, DUS.
In 2016, he completed primary specialization in "Oncosurgery," and since 2022, he has been an associate professor at the Department of Oncology of the P.L. Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education of Ukraine.
Since 2022, he has been a part-time scientific and pedagogical worker at the Department of Oncology of the P.L. Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine, teaching specialization courses in oncosurgery and clinical oncology.
He is the author of one patent for an invention in Ukraine and has 21 publications in national medical journals and materials from congresses and conferences. He actively participates in domestic and scientific congresses and conferences dedicated to surgical, proctological, and oncological issues.
The priority areas of scientific and surgical activity for Fedot Tkachenko include studying the problem of colorectal cancer and inflammatory diseases of the large intestine.
Fedot Tkachenko is a member of the Ukrainian Association of Surgical Oncology (USSO), the European Society of Surgical Oncology (ESSO), the European Society of Coloproctology (ESCP), and the Ukrainian Association of Coloproctologists.
