On June 1, 2023, a scientific and practical conference with international participation "Actual Issues of Emergency Medicine" (CME event №5502564) was held, which was organized by the staff of the Department of Emergency Medicine and held under the auspices of the Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine (CME provider №1065).
The conference was attended by more than 250 participants: doctors of ambulance teams, emergency medicine doctors and doctors of related specialities. The conference featured a number of reports on various issues related to the organization of emergency medical care and the specifics of diagnosis and treatment of emergency conditions of various kinds, as well as a master class on emergency medical care.
At the opening of the conference, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Professor O.V. Protsiuk, Director of the EMC and MC of Kyiv, Stakhova N.I. Stakhova N.I, Professor of the Department of Emergency Medicine Zozulya I.S. and Head of the Department of Emergency Medicine Volosovets A.O. Foreign experts in emergency medicine (Bacar Cander, Paul Kivela, Saravana Kumar, Daniel Lopez Tapia, Vitor Almeida, Olena Lourenço), representatives of the departments of emergency medicine from higher education institutions of Ukraine, practitioners in emergency medicine and other specialities participated in the conference as speakers.
