Taking into account the new challenges and risks associated with the completion of cycles, the team of the Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery of Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine decided to establish close ties with the city and regional centers of the Association of Surgeons for the exchange of experience and interest of students in studying.

In 2023, the Chief of Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery - S. Savoliuk (MD, Dr.Sc., Full Professor)  received an invitation from Surgeons Associations of Chernihiv, Ternopil, Kropivnitsky, Cherkasy where he made a speeches in front of the surgical communities with the following reports: «Modern strategy of surgical treatment of diabetic foot syndrome», «Fast recovery techniques in abdominal and oncological surgery», «Simultaneous operations in surgery: current state of the problem and prospects for implementation», «Peculiarities of venous pathology in users of injection drugs», «Trophic ulcers – a modern look at an old problem». The report, multimedia support and video material caused a lively discussion and interest among the audience. The presented interesting clinical experience and innovative developments of the Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery encourages them to continue their study during the cycles of the thematic improvement and scientific and practical activities that are actively conducted by the Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery for the subsequent introduction into the institutions of practical health care.

Such experience is a rather perspective direction, which department will continue to develop for the implementation of the educational plan.
