On November 7, 2023 at Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine took place interdepartmental seminar regarding consideration of PhD dissertation, full-time graduate student of the Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery (Head of the Department - Professor Savoliuk S.) Dembitsky A. on the topic: "Tactics of complex surgical treatment of chronic venous insufficiency C5-C6 clinical class" (field of knowledge 22 "Health", specialty 222 "Medicine", specialization 14.01.03. - Surgery), performed under the guidance of Head of the Department, Professor Savoliuk S.

The chairman of the scientific council was Head of the Department of Surgery and Proctology Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine - Professor Feleshtynsky Y.; reviewers - Professor Smorzhevsky V., Associate Professor Prysyazhna N. (Department of Surgery and Transplantology Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine).

In the report, the graduate student highlighted the main provisions of the work, focusing on the relevance of the presented surgical problem, taking into account the dynamics of domestic and global incidence of varicose veins and its complications in the form of trophical ulcer; the assessment of early and long-term results of application of endovenous electric welding technology during the performance of minimally invasive interventions, cellular technologies and negative pressure therapy is carried out.

The speeches of reviewers emphasized the importance of the dissertation research, especially the medical and social aspect of the selected scientific problem, its practical and theoretical significance and the solution of the problem by modern minimally invasive and minimally traumatic surgical technologies, cellular technologies and negative pressure therapy.
