The Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery continues its active clinical and scientific-methodical work, expanding its capabilities and exploring new clinical facilities. Currently, there is active preparation for the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine and the private multidisciplinary medical center 'MEDHELSI.'

This collaboration aims to broaden the list of clinical bases for the Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine, particularly by establishing the Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery (headed by Dr. Med. Sci., Professor Savolyuk S.I.) within the inpatient department of this medical institution. The goal is to implement a comprehensive program of joint educational, scientific, and medical activities.

The signing of this agreement will enable the provision of medical services to be more accessible to the population while maintaining consistently high quality. It will allow for a more effective collection of clinical material for graduate students, the execution of research projects by the department, training of interns, and participation of participants in thematic improvement cycles and specialization programs.

During the preparation phase for the signing of this agreement, the team of the Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery at the Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine, led by the head of the department, Dr. Med. Sci., Professor Savolyuk S.I., and the assistant professor, Cand. Med. Sci., Dembitskyi A.R., along with graduate students Melnychuk G.O., Lypnytskyi V.V., conducted a series of demonstrative minimally invasive surgeries at the "MEDHELSI" medical center. These included proctological procedures (6), endovenous operations for varicose vein disease of the lower limbs and its complications (48), as well as laparoscopic interventions for inguinal hernias (2), chronic calculous cholecystitis (3), abdominoplasty (4), augmentation mammoplasty (6), blepharoplasty (8), and facial lifting (1). This showcased the high professionalism of the surgical teams from the Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery, their proficiency in modern minimally invasive surgical technologies, and the integration of innovative standards in rapid recovery surgery.
