On February 6, 2024, at the initiative of the head of the Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery of the National Healthcare University of Ukraine named after P.L. Shupyk, Professor Savoliuk S., an interdisciplinary seminar was held for second-year resident doctors and surgeons of the surgical clinic of the Kyiv City Clinical Hospital N. 8 on the topic: "Skin Tumors: Surgeon's and Pathologist's Synergy".

For the discussion and review of current material in ambulatory surgery, the director of the specialized laboratory "Dialog", Sofia Nikolaenko, was invited to participate. The department collaborates with her.

The materials and new scientific data obtained will be used in the program of the thematic improvement cycle "Modern Opportunities in Ambulatory Surgery, Phlebology, and Proctology". This will enhance and elevate the basic educational level of the participants, focusing on adequate differential diagnostics of skin neoplasms and rational surgical tactics.

The Research and Practical Center of the Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery always keeps up with the times and continuously elevates its professional standards and the level of educational programs taught at the department.
