The staff members developed and approved a degree course scheme in Nervous Diseases (14.01.15) for the full-time, full-time evening and part-time PhD students of the Academy at the meeting held a short time ago.

The degree course scheme for the PhD students, specialized in Nervous Diseases is a normative document, which defines the content of training and sets the requirements for the scope and level of professional competencies acquiring by the PhD candidates.

The program suggests that postgraduates acquire general professional, specialized professional, research and analytical competencies in Nervous diseases.

The continuous and midpoint assessment of competences is carried out as specified by the Statute concerning the teaching / learning process management at Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education, approved by the Academic Council of the Academy (Protocol No. 2 dated February 18 2015). The main lines of the assessments are as follows: written tests, individual tests, questions and answers sessions, discussions, reports, presentations as well as articles, papers etc.

In general, the training program includes 12 credits (360 hours).

In accordance with the requirements of the educational and scientific program, along with other professional skills, the PhD candidate is expected to master the other competencies as a result of the successful training.
