In our opinion sharing modern scientific information and providing training courses are extremely important nowadays during the quarantine due to COVID-19 pandemics because this infection is very dangerous for both patients and doctors.

On 6-7 April 2020 Inna Kuchynska, Assistant Professor of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care performed workshops and master classes for nurses and surgeons of Kyiv City Clinical Hospital № 10. All workshops were performed with support of public organization “Association of Anesthesiologists, Perfusiologists and Intensive Care Practitioners” (head of an organization professor Oleg Loskutov). The topics of master classes were “Features of PPE usage during the work with COVID-19 patients”, “Assessment of breathing and airway management in COVID-19 patients”.

Assistant Professor Inna Kuchynska also gave a lecture and conducted workshop “Airway management in COVID-19 patients. Rapid sequence induction and intubation (RSI) protocol” to anesthesiologists of the hospital. 18 nurses, 11 surgeons and 12 anesthesiologists were taking part in the workshops for 2 days.

The administration of Kyiv City Clinical Hospital № 10 expressed the appreciation to Shupyk NMAPE and to the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care for organizing the training in such critical situation.
