On November 14, a regular consultation of specialists in comorbid conditions was held with the participation of the staff of the Department of Cardiology of the Shupik National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education.

The main topic of the meeting was the issues uniting cardiology and neurology: stroke and primary prevention, as well as the possibilities of cerebroprotection of antihypertensive therapy. Leading experts of Ukraine worked in detail on the analysis of these issues: Yakovleva L.N., Pesotskaya E.V., Dolzhenko M.M. The lecturers introduced the audience to modern international protocols on these issues and data from the world's largest research in this area. Despite the "era" of covid, patients continue to suffer from other life-threatening diseases and need qualified help.

Much attention during the meeting was devoted to the disturbance of the rhythm and the danger awaiting a family doctor in the management of such patients. All questions of the listeners were answered by as. I.V.Davidova and prof. M.M. Dolzhenko.

And of course, the problem that all doctors in our country have been living with since March 2020 did not remain without attention. Leading specialist of the Institute of Pulmonology and Phthisiology Dzyublik Ya.A. worked with doctors on the topic: "COVID-19 associated pneumonia".

As always, there were many interesting questions from the audience, as well as analyzes of clinical situations.
