The Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care took part in the scientific historical and terminological conference of the All-Ukrainian Medical Association (AUMA) "30th anniversary of Independence of Ukraine and the All-Ukrainian Medical Association", which took place on June 30, 2021 in the National Scientific Medical Library of Ukraine (General Director Tatiana Ostapenko). The event took place online and offline.

Oleg Musiy, President of AUMA, addressed the participants of the conference with an introductory speech. Welcoming speeches were made by Lubomyr Pyroh — Academician of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, Honorary President of AUMA, Stanislav Nechayev — Chairman of the Historical and Terminological Commission of AUMA, Iryna Mazur — Professor, Representative of Ukraine in the Standing Committee of European Physicians and Daniel Karab — Chairmans of the Board of AUMA. 

The program issues of the conference covered the following issues — the history of Ukrainian medicine, the participation of Ukrainian physicians and AUMA in patriotic events, medical terminology and more. Among others, the reports were made by Associate Professor of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, Ph.D. Yuriy Markov: «Stages of the history of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care of Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine» and «Volodymyr Oleksiyovych Trotsevych — an outstanding domestic anesthesiologist». 

Following the conference, a resolution was adopted.
