Full Professor R. M. Vitovsky is a leading expert in cardiovascular surgery, he carries on significant educational methodological, research, advisory and clinical work; was trained abroad.

Full Professor R. M. Vitovsky is the cardiovascular surgery adviser of the NAMS and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Member of the Association of Cardiovascular Surgeons of Ukraine, editorial board member of the Annals of the Association of Cardiovascular Surgeons of Ukraine "Cardiovascular Surgery” and the academic periodical “Cardiac surgery and Intervention Cardiology”.
