On September 9-10, 2022, as part of the implementation of the global program to fight blindness "Sight 2024: The Right to Sight", the World Health Organization (WHO), the European Glaucoma Society (EGS), the World Glaucoma Association (WGPA) and on the initiative of the Ukrainian Glaucoma Society, the Kyiv Medical University of the Ukrainian Association of Folk Medicine, a scientific and practical conference with international participation "Glaucoma + 2022" was successfully held, in which more than 1,500 ophthalmologists and pediatric ophthalmologists of Ukraine took part.

Thanks to the initiative of the International Council of Ophthalmology, the Virtual World Ophthalmological Congress ® (WOC2022® Virtual) will start from September 9 to 12, 2022.

Doctor-surgeon, post-graduate student of the Department of General and Emergency Surgery (head Prof. V.V. Kryzhevskyi) ANASTASIA IGNATIEVA in early March 2022 founded the "Face of a Ukrainian" charity project to perform free reconstructive plastic surgeries for war victims who were injured during hostilities.

From July 07 to July 09, 2022, the 5th International Conference on the Science and Surgery of the Meniscus for Orthopedic Traumatologists was held in Luxembourg. Professor, MD Igor Zazirnyi was attended by from the department the congress.

On May 30, 2022, the annual scientific-practical conference "YOUNG SCIENCE 4.0" (for young scientists) took place online. Most of the PhD-students of the Department of Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Medical Psychology of the Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine took part in this conference and presented the results of there research work.
