From 01.02.2022 at the Department of Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Medical Psychology of the National Educational Institution of Ukraine named after P.L. Shupyk will host a new budget cycle "Specialization in psychiatry". The duration of the cycle training will be one year.

Since 2005, the International Cancer Union has celebrated World Cancer Day every year on February 4. The year 2022 is held under the slogan: "Create a future without cancer. It's time to act now ", which provides an opportunity to draw public attention to this global problem, to remind how dangerous and widespread cancer is now.

International cooperation, especially in the medical field, is always a tool for the quality exchange of knowledge and experience, and provides opportunities for the inclusion of the medical community into the world society.

The Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care of Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine has made a significant contribution to the development of the specialty «anesthesiology» in Ukraine, it gave an impetus to the development of Ukrainian anesthesiology and intensive care. Its origin was preceded by the selfless work of enthusiasts and highly qualified doctors with broad erudition, which often went beyond medical knowledge.

The Department of Therapy and Geriatrics is pleased to announce that in December 2021 the monograph "TRIPs Across Epithelial and Endothelial Barriers in Health and Disease", developed by the department in collaboration with Biology and Medicine Institute Science Educational Center of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, was published in USA.

Training of interns-physicians of the Department of Oncology during 2020-2022 took place in a coronavirus pandemic, which required changes in organization and methodology of the educational process. Guided by the instructions of the administration of the Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine and paragraph 2 of the Order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine for № 698 from 23.03.2020, employees of the Department were able to fully provide training for interns-physicians in "Clinical Oncology".
