The Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care took part in the scientific historical and terminological conference of the All-Ukrainian Medical Association (AUMA) "30th anniversary of Independence of Ukraine and the All-Ukrainian Medical Association", which took place on June 30, 2021 in the National Scientific Medical Library of Ukraine (General Director Tatiana Ostapenko). The event took place online and offline.

On May 26th, 2021, the contest Mrs.Ukraine International 2021 took place, and one of the participants was Anastasia Ignatieva, a postgraduate student of the Department of General and Emergency Surgery (Head professor Vadym Kryzhevsky). Anastasia Ignatieva became the first plastic surgeon in the history of the contest in Ukraine, who took part and became the vice-miss at the legendary international beauty contest.

On June 5–6, 2021, in Boston, USA, an international training course for teachers of medical institutions – "Advanced teaching skills" was held on the development and implementation of innovative teaching methods for students of medical universities in the educational process. It was a large-scale project, an online training course that brought together hundreds of participants from 22 countries around the world and 30 US states.

On June 24-25, 2021, the V Congress of Specialists in Emergency Medicine and Disaster Medicine was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the Pan-Ukrainian Association of Specialists of Emergency Medicine and Disaster Medicine and the Shupyk National University of Healthcare of Ukraine.
