On May 26, 2021, the Department of Pediatric Anesthesiology and Intensive Care completed the first two-week cycle of thematic improvement for pediatricians "Emergency Pediatrics: Clinical Examinations (Diagnosis and Intensive Care of Critical Conditions in Children) at the patient's bedside."

The XXII international scientific-practical conference “Multimodal mechanisms of prevention, pathogenesis, and management of cerebrovascular and cardiovascular diseases” took place on April 21-23, 2021. The topic of the conference was devoted to the problems of the management of cerebrovascular and cardiovascular diseases, such as stroke, arterial hypertension, degenerative diseases of the nervous system.

On May, 20-22, 2021 the Annual Conference “Actual problems of contemporary diabetology” took place. As in the previous years, the conference was interdisciplinary and was very well received by participants.

The Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care took part in the XX International Scientific and Practical Conference "Trends in the Development of Medical Libraries in Ukraine and Challenges of the Modern Information Society", which was held on May 19, 2021, in the National Scientific Medical Library of Ukraine (NSMLU).

On the basis of the Oncology Department, which is currently headed by Professor Prokip Gordiychuk, another cycle of thematic improvement "Gynecological cancer and pregnancy: diagnosis and treatment algorithms" was held. The curator of the program was Professor of the Department Natalia Tsip, a leading researcher at the Department of Oncogynecology of the National Cancer Institute.
