According to Article 7 “Language of Education” of the Law of Ukraine “On Education”, which is a framework document for restructuring the national education system, the Ukrainian higher school aims to ensure independent conditions for all foreign residents in learning the Ukrainian language.

On March 2nd 2020, a course of thematic improvement “Diagnostics and Intensive Care of Urgent Conditions” has begun on the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care. A duration of course is 2 weeks. Professor Oleksandr Halushko is a guidance counselor of this thematic improvement.

Among the scientific priorities of the Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery of Shupyk NMAPE (Head of the Department - Doctor of Medical Sciences, Full Professor Savoliuk S.) belongs the introduction of existing and development of new surgical technologies in the minimally invasive surgery of varicose veins and varicose veins complications (venous trophic ulcers), which allows fast postoperative rehabilitation, recovery and return to the usual lifestyle.

On March 2, 2020 at the Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery of Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education (Chief of Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery - S. Savoliuk (MD, Dr.Sc., Full Professor)) 2-year interns have began training in the specialty "Surgery".

On February 26, 2020 at the Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery of the Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education (the Chief of Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery - S. Savoliuk (MD, Dr.Sc., Full Professor)) took place an intermediate attestation of interns (specialty – surgery, second year of studying).
