On March 4-5, 2023, on the basis of the Simulation Training Center of the Ternopil I. Gorbachevsky National Medical University Gorbachevsky (TESIMEN), a team of emergency medicine specialists from Portugal (Vitor Almeida, Carolina Mogos, Uliana Pidhirna and Olena Berezovska-Lorenzo) and a team of instructors from the Simulation Training Center headed by the Center's Director Halyna Tsymbaliuk conducted the third of a series of training courses "Advanced Critical Care Transfer Simulation Course", which was attended by emergency medicine specialists from different parts of Ukraine.

It consists of 2 surgical departments (100 inpatient beds), which accommodate patients with the entire spectrum of elective and urgent surgical pathologies, evacuated wounded soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
