In March 2023, the 9th edition of the ITLS (International Trauma Life Support) textbook "Prehospital Trauma Care" was published, translated into Ukrainian. The authors of the original textbook are Professors Roy L. Elson, Kai G. Gan, and John E. Campbell.

On March 30, the Department of Oncology of the Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine held a face-to-face and distance learning intermediate training seminar on the "Oncology and Gynecology" specialization cycle. The listeners of the cycle were presented with a choice of topics from the academic discipline, according to which they prepared presentations.

On March 4-5, 2023, on the basis of the Simulation Training Center of the Ternopil I. Gorbachevsky National Medical University Gorbachevsky (TESIMEN), a team of emergency medicine specialists from Portugal (Vitor Almeida, Carolina Mogos, Uliana Pidhirna and Olena Berezovska-Lorenzo) and a team of instructors from the Simulation Training Center headed by the Center's Director Halyna Tsymbaliuk conducted the third of a series of training courses "Advanced Critical Care Transfer Simulation Course", which was attended by emergency medicine specialists from different parts of Ukraine.

World Glaucoma Week is a global health promotion initiative organized by the World Glaucoma Association (WGA) to raise awareness of glaucoma as the leading preventable cause of irreversible blindness worldwide.

The main clinical base of the Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine (head of the Department - professor Savoliuk S.) is based at Kyiv city clinical hospital №8.  It consists of 2 surgical departments (100 inpatient beds), which accommodate patients with the entire spectrum of elective and urgent surgical pathologies, evacuated wounded soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
