For the fourth year in a row, the Department of Fundamental Disciplines and Informatics has been an active participant and co-organizer of the DigiHealthDay International Symposium since 2021. This significant annual event was one of the results of the cooperation of the Department (the Head of the Department is professor Ozar Mintser), as a representative of the Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine, and the European Campus Rottal-Inn (project coordinator — professor Georgi Chaltikyan) of the Deggendorf Institute of Technology (DIT), Federal Republic of Germany.

Department of Cardiology, at Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine continues to organize free classes on Saturdays for doctors from all over Ukraine. The cardiological event held on December 9 was particularly interesting for cardiologists, therapists, and family doctors.

On December 15, Nataliia Boichenko, the Professor of the Department of Fundamental Disciplines and Informatics participated in the international conference "Integrity, Open Science, and Artificial Intelligence in Academia and Beyond: Meeting at the Crossroads." The conference was the part of the framework of the Jean Monet modules ERASMUS-JMO-2021-HEI-TCH-RSCH-101048055 “AICE –With Academic integrity to EU values: step by step to common Europe”, ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH-101085198 “OSEE – Open Science and Education in Europe: success stories for Ukrainian academia”.

Intraosseous infusion is a modern solution to the problem of vascular access in critical situations. In medical practice, there are clinical situations in which the patient needs vascular access. The quality of the provided medical care, and often the life of a person, depends on its availability. According to statistics, it takes more than five minutes to establish intravenous access for 5-10% of adult patients and 25% for children. About 6% of cases are such that vascular access is unattainable. An alternative option is intraosseous access.

At the beginning of December, was an important event for the oncological community of Ukraine, a scientific and practical conference with international participation "Individualization of treatment of malignant tumors of the breast and other localizations", organized by the "National Association of Oncologists of Ukraine", the National Cancer Institute together with the KNP "Khmelnytskyi Regional Antitumor Center" , Khmelnytskyi Regional Council.
