28 November 2019 the "Studying for the Pearson Test of English General" course got off to a good start at the Department of Foreign Languages. 5 November 2019, in partnership with Dinternal Education International Training Centre we conducted a Placement Essential Test for 18 applicants. Among those there were selected 9 people to be enrolled. The online test made it possible to assess the learners' linguistic competence on the Global Scale of English, as it included various revision tests (reading comprehension, writing skills, listening comprehension).

In order to streamline the teaching and learning strategies at NMAPE and in line with Article 7 of the Law of Ukraine "On Education" (adopted by the Verkhovna Rada on 5 September 2017), declaring that "Educational institutions, including vocational, professional pre-university and higher education, provide the compulsory learning of the national language to the extent that offers a means for conducting professional activities in the chosen field using the national language", the Department of Foreign Languages has rolled out the "Ukrainian For Business Communication" course for NMAPE's academic staff.

From November 25 to November 27, 2019, at the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care of the NMAPE named after PL Shupyk, according to the Curriculum and the program of cycle of thematic improvement “Transplant-Coordinator”, adjacent cycle of training of doctors in the specialty “Transplant-Coordinator” was held.

An important component of the continuing professional training of physicians is the participation in lecture days and seminars, which discuss the latest recommendations of current international guidelines.

Postgraduate medical education is a part of continuing education in the field of medicine and involves both continuous improvement of theoretical knowledge and continuous professional development of practical skills.

To this end, a variety of training programs have been developed and are successfully applied in practice, consisting of clinical classes, theoretical training, systematic assessment of the effectiveness of the learning process, and student learning.

Associate-Professor Candidate of Medical Sciences Olga Ponomaryova have attended on November, 2-5, 2019, the yearly event – the European Oncogynecological Congress, which was held in Athens (Greece) casually under supervision of ESGO – European Society of Oncogynecologists. The Congress have had prominent trend in multidisciplinary agenda and ideology. Leading scientist from all over the world, and from Europe especially, have devoted their communications and lectures to modern algorithms of diagnosis and treatment of oncogynecological patients.
