The Department of Foreign Languages launches the Teachers' Advanced Training Course on January 13, 2020.
Here the attendees are involved in a wide range of short activities which are designed around topics engaging and relevant to the learners and used to complement their curriculum, giving the students an opportunity to develop their English language and skills in motivating and enjoyable ways. Written by the learner experts from around the world, the efforts are easy to use and aim to give them the skills and confidence they need to enjoy learning English.

On December 24, 2019, at the Kovel Territorial Medical Association (MTMO) hospital, a team of doctors of the Heart Institute, led by the director of the Institute, Professor Boris Todurov, successfully completed a heart transplant to a recipient with marked dilated cardiomyopathy. This surgery became the first in Ukraine in the last 15 years to have a heart transplant.

Already fourth year in succession the Department of Ophthalmology of the Shupik National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education successfully passed the cycles of thematic improvement "Glaucoma" for in-plant training of ophthalmologists and surgeons, improvement of theoretical knowledge and practical skills of realization of modern methods of subklinical diagnostics, laser and microsurgeon interferences at glaucoma. On December 27, 2019 at the Department of Pedagogy, Psychology, Medical and Pharmaceutical Law the cycle of humanitarian training of postgraduate students in medicine and pharmacy of full-time training who started in 2017 has been completed.

At the Academy, the “Upper Intermediate English” course suggests that the PhD students both gain a good command of English and pass their exam as better as possible. Since the program consists of 240 academic hours, 200 of which are focused on mastering English in class, and 40 hours for self-studying as well as our highly-skilled instructors’ work has found receptive audience at NMAPE.
